MOYCARKEY BORRIS GAA CLUB NOTES 22/07/18

Senior Club Fixtures

Our minor A team beat  Moyne/Gaels  in the third  round of championship hurling last Wednesday in Littleton.

Juvenile fixtures

Congratulations to our under 6s who competed in a hurling blitz in Kickam  park on Saturday. A very enjoyable weekend was had by all and thanks to Morgan Lanigan for the invitation.

Our under 16 team defeated Gortnahoe on Thursday evening and now play  Upperchurch in the next league round.

Moycarkey Borris Ladies Football and Camoige Club.

 Congratulations to our under 16 camoige team who defeated Boherlahan in the county semi final last Sunday evening in the ragg.They now await their apponents in the County final Wednesday  week.

Under 11 Ladies football team had a win over Clonmel Commercials in their League match.

The under 14 ladies football team had a draw against Lattin Cullen last Thursday evening in Littleton while their second team had a win over Fethard second team in a very tight game in their first league match.

Charity Cycle.

H&MV engineering have organized a charity cycle for the Irish Guide dogs for the blind  .The cycle is on Saturday 28th July departing from the Horse and Jockey Hotel. Go to hmveng.ie/cycle2018 to register or register from 9am on the day. We are appealing to as many club members as possible to support this great cause.

County Minor Hurling

Best wishes to Kevin Hayes, Darren Flood , Max Hackett and Jack Morrissey who play Kilkenny in the All Ireland semi final at 1.30 in Croke Park this Sunday. Its a great achievement for the club to have four boys representing the parish at county level.
