The late Tim Kelly

On last Thursday morning we heard the sad news from Ballyerk of the passing of Tim Kelly RIP. A Moycarkey Borris club stalwart all his life Tim gave a lifetime of noble and generous service to our club community. Tim followed in his fathers footsteps to play for the club at every age level but his contribution extended far beyond his playing days. He was a very astute team selector and the ultimate team mentor. One of his specialities in recent years was to diligently look after the team sliothars for training and games.  We remember Tim's special friendliness, honest competitiveness, gracious decency, natural humility and enduring commitment. Our sympathy to Fiona Carol, Tom, John, Phil, extended family and friends.
