Juvenile fixtures

Both our Under 12 teams competed in their respective mid finals last weekend.First up was our Under 12 A team who where up against a strong JK Brackens side.It was a game of two halves where moycarkey were very impressive and went in at half time 11 points up.However Brackens matched their performance with a very impressive come back.It was heart stopping football but unfortanetly the boys couldn’t hold onto their lead and lost on  score line of 4-10 to 4-08.Moycarkey Borris :Jamie o Mahoney,Louis Coughlin,Danial Hayes,David Costigan,Eamonn Ryan,Tom Ryan,John Fitzgerald,Killian Cantwell,Cillian Doran.John Mulligan,Jack Hayes,Cathal Clancy,Danial Whealan.

Our second under 12 team faced Clonakenny Saturday morning in the ragg.This was another heart stopping match which resulted in a battle up to the very end. Moycarkey lead by 3 points at half time and scored another 1-02 early in the second half before Clonakenny finished very strong and staged a come back.Moycarkey were relieved to hear the final whistle and held on to win by one point.3-05  to 3-06.Moycarkey :Rory Heffernan,Dylan Maher,Mia o Meara,Ciara Shelly,Sarah Corcoran,Niall o Sullivan,Caitlin Shelly,Sean Maher,Odhran Lanphier,Michael Treacy,Cian Burke,Jack o Keefe,Darragh Patterson,Mark  Drohan,Ciaran Stapelton and Coner Donnelly.

Congratulations to our under 14 team who defeated  Boherlahan last Thursday evening in the third  round football championship.

Under 8 training is every Saturday morning 10.30am in Littleton pitch.

Under 6 training every Saturday at 11am in Littleton. All new children welcome.

Membership 2018

Membership for 2018 season is now overdue .It  can be paid to Senior club secretary Michele McKelvey or Juvenile club registrar Mary Shelly.The membership rates are as follow s Juvenile  30,Minor 30 ,Adult player 50,Family (2 adults and 2 boys) 70.Note each additional boy is 15.Non players/Mentors 40.

County Board Draw

Please bring your payment amounts up to date ,any overdue monies and changes need to be with Margaret Ryan on or before 9th May. Moycarkey Borris Ladies Football and Camoige Club.
U12s - Our U12B football team were narrowly beaten by Cahir in their final group match in Littleton on Monday evening. Our U12A camogie team defeated Thurles Sars on Wed evening. Congratulations to our U12 girls who played with the boys on Sat and won the Group 4 Mid Football Final. Best wishes to our U12 Community Games football team who play the Co Final in Holycross next Sat. All support welcome

Under 14 Ladies Peile

Fundraiser Bingo: May 13th in Muintir Na Tire hall Littleton at 3pm. €500 Jackpot sheet & raffle on the day. Usual buses will travel. Proceeds to Moycarkey under 14 ladies football team who will travel to Navan in June to the feile competition. Please support......

We    are also holding a disco in the community hall Littleton, Friday the 18th of May from 3.30 to 5.30 for all primary school going kids, €5 entry .Great fun not to be missed.
