Mid Tipp Awards

Niall O Sullivan was honoured as Mid Tipp Minor Footballer of the year last Friday night in the Ragg at the Mid Tipp awards night. Congrats & well done to Niall on his accomplishment.


The time of year has come again when membership is due. E40 for U21s upwards inclusive, E20 for minors, E30 for non-playing members & all selectors.E60 for family membership (1 or 2 adults with children u16). Membership should be paid to club registrar John Kelly. There will be two Saturday mornings in February for Juvenile registration, dates to follow.


Many thanks to all those who gave their time last Saturday morning to help with work in the field. It was much appreciated.

Scor na bPaisti

The Mid Semi Final of Scor na bPaisti was held in Moyne last Saturday night. Moycarkey were represented in all eight categories with 4 going through to the Mid Final which will be held in Clonmore on Friday at 7.30. The following are the groups that will represent the club in the Mid Final Figure Dance: Deirdre Fogarty, Zoe O’Meara, Saoirse O'Meara, Kate Looby, Queva O’Meara, Amy Cummins, Rachael Dowling, and Claire Ryan Solo Song: Aoife Ryan Novelty Act: Caitlin Donnelly, Rachael Dowling, Saoirse O’Meara, Claire Ryan, Holly Tobin, Brian O’ Callaghan, and Roisin Donnelly Set Dancing: Rachael Dowling, Zoe O’Meara, Caitlin Donnelly, Aoife Walsh, Queva O’Meara, Brendan Looby, Holly Tobin, and Saoirse O’Meara.

We wish all the competitors all the best in the Mid Final and support on the night would be greatly appreciated.

Scor Sinsear

Changes have been made to the format of Scor in the County with the divisional finals begin replaced by County Semi Finals, which this year will see the Mid and South competing with 2 acts from each category going forward to the County final. Preparations are beginning for the Scor Sinsear County Semi Final and anyone interested in taking part please contact Mairead Clohessy

Harty Cup

Congrats to Thurles CBS who pulled it back from the brink last Wed in Dolla to get a draw & best of luck to them this Wed in the replay in the Ragg @ 1.30pm, especially our club members on the panel.  All support appreciated.


Congrats to club minor Jamie Costello who captained Rockwell College to win the MacGabhann Shield Tipperary Schools u18 football final against Scoil Ruain, Killenaule. Also in team was Conor Hayes. Well done to both on this achievement.
