Conor Kennedy u14 hurling tournament: Last Saturday 16th June was the first Conor Kennedy Memorial Tournament. It was a busy day for the club being such an honour to hold this tournament. A lot of work went into the day from a lot of angles. After enjoyable matches the time for the final eventually came around, which brought the meeting of two Tipperary teams, a very even battle for a lot of the match, however the hosts Moycarkey Borris were ousted by neighbours Clonoulty Rossmore on a deserving win. Denis Kennedy along with Eilish & Mary presented Conors cup to Clonoulty. Liam Hennessy, John Hackett & Jimmy Fogarty presented the medals which they had kindly sponsored also. Denis on behalf of the Kennedy family gave a beautiful speech, from the heart to finish off an entertaining day. Many thanks to the Kennedy family for putting up the cup, his friends for the medals. Appreciation for the day also goes to the u14 selectors, the parents of the u14 boys, the ladies who catered on the day and the juvenile& senior club for all their help to make the first memorial tournament a success.

Parish League: Sunday morning saw the annual parish league kick off @ 11.30am. The sun shone and the matches went ahead. After a few exciting games the final was ready to begin Tipperary v Galway, a thrilling final that couldnt predict a result till very near the end. Galway narrowly took the title by a goal at the end. Congratulations & well done to the mentors of all 5 teams. The shield and medals were presented to victorious Galway by Kieran Morris on behalf of Joes Taxi who so kindly sponsored the medals. In conjunction with this there was a cake sale and raffle also held. There were 2 Tipperary jerseys for raffle also kindly sponsored by Joe O Sullivan (Joes Taxis). The winners were Breda Cummins & Thomas Ryan. The raffle & cake sale raised E668, many many thanks to all those donated & supported on the day.
