Moycarkey Borris Strictly Come Dancing
Moycarkey Borris will host Strictly Come Dancing on Sunday, March 27th at 8.00pm in the Dome, Thurles. There will be sixteen couples stepping it out on the night and a special word of thanks has to go to each dancer. The Master of Ceremonies on the night will be Marty Morrissey. This promises to be a spectacular evening of entertainment and a limited number of tickets are available from dancers, club members or the local shops.

County Intermediate Hurling League
Moycarkey Borris hosted Golden Kilfeacle in the second round of the County Intermediate Hurling League on Friday last under lights in Littleton. Moycarkey commenced the scoring with a pointed free by Ciaran Clohessy and from there the match progressed into a point trading game, with both teams working hard to create a margin higher than two points. However the opportunity never came and at the half time whistle, Golden Kilfeacle led by 0-9 to 0-7.
Moycarkey started the second half with a point and soon after John Kelly netted the ball to give the Moycarkey the lead. Another two points for Golden tied up the scores. Ciaran Clohessy added another point and goal to put Moycarkey in front and Jamie Fanning extended the lead with another point. As the final ten minutes approached Golden raised the green flag to leave just two points in it. In a tight and exciting finish, Golden added a further three points to Moycarkey’s two points with the home side securing a hard earned one point victory. Moycarkey Borris 2-12 Golden Kilfeacle 1-14.

County Senior Hurling Challenge Cup
Moycarkey Borris will play Silvermines in the next round of the County Senior Hurling Challenge Cup in Littleton on Friday, March 25th at 8.00pm.

Mid Under 21 Hurling Championship
The first round of the Mid Under 21 Hurling Championship against Thurles Sarsfields is due to commence on the weekend of March 26th. Check for fixture details once confirmed.

Senior Club Meeting
There will be a club meeting for the Senior Club in the clubrooms on this Wednesday, March 23rd at 9.15pm. All members are welcome to attend.

Tipperary Senior Hurling Team
Well done to Kieran Morris who was named in the starting Tipperary team who defeated Cork on Sunday last in Semple Stadium.

Under 16
Moycarkey Borris Under 16 teams competed in the Mid Under 16 A and Under 16 B Football Championships on Saturday last. The Under 16 B team met a stronger Loughmore Castleiney team in Castleiney, losing out on a scoreline of 1-17 to 2-2. Meanwhile, the Under 16 A team hosted JK Brackens in the Mid U16A Football 2016 in Littleton. Moycarkey were the stronger throughout the game and recorded their first victory on a scoreline of 6-14 to 3-4.

Under 12
Moycarkey Borris group 4 under 12 team had a hard fought win away from home against Boherlahan in Football on Saturday last. Moycarkey took a two point lead into halftime but were facing into the breeze for the second half. Questions were asked of all eleven players, each of whom played a full match and the players had the answers finishing the stronger on a final score line of 2-4 to 4-2, a four point win for the red and yellow.

Camogie and Ladies Football Club
Moycarkey Borris Camogie and Ladies Football Club will like to thank all who attended, donated and helped at their annual Cake Sale on Thursday last at Muintir na Tire Hall, Littleton after the parade.
